Web-IQ

SafeCity Platform

SafeCity is an additional dataset that Web IQ offers its (governmental) clients. This dataset contains data about possible human trafficking, (illegal) prostitution, and other high-risk activities in your city. Such data is very useful for (local) governments and cities that want to safeguard the societal security within their own territory in a targeted manner.

Enforcing the Dutch regulations on prostitution and detecting human trafficking has been high on the priority list of the Dutch cities and government for many years.

In close collaboration with several large Dutch cities and Web IQ, we introduced a solid data-oriented approach for an improved intelligence position regarding online prostitution in the Netherlands. Data of 25 different sex advertisement websites and related forums have been continuously collected, structured, and analysed. These advanced insights now support the daily operations of authorities with data (near-real-time and archived) via a versatile search engine, including warning notifications based on automated risk analyses.
